I Have A Dream - A Gospel Story, excerpt
Excerpt from the “I Have a Dream – A Gospel Story” performance.
“A Gospel Story” takes you on a captivating musical journey 50 years back in time when dig Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. stood before 200,000 people in Washington D.C. and spoke about his dream, a dream of freedom, diversity and tolerance. An oratory performance that is more relevant than ever!
Dr. King’s famous speech about the history of African-Americans, the struggle for freedom and civil rights in the American South seems just as relevant today as in August 1963. In this story you will meet the people who were there that day when Dr. King gave his speech. Who were these people? What they carry with them for life story?
The show “I Have A Dream – A Gospel Story” is about being loved, of freedom and dreams, a touching musical about people’s destinies. The performance will move to Washington, D.C. in February 2015. We here in Sweden are fortunate to be able to see it before the United States premiere. Three artists have flown over from Washington to be a part of the tour that comes to eight Swedish cities during the fall of 2014.
