In the first weekend of August Näsåker is overflowing with love and music from all around the world. An inspiring weekend offering concerts, workshops, theatre, ecological food, recycling, poetry slam and many interesting meetings.
The first night of the festival the opening ceremony Eldnatten (The Fire Night) will take place – an every year unique performance composed of drums, singing, dancing and fire!
Näsåker is a small village in Västernorrland, about 40 km northwest of the city of Sollefteå.
The village is located by the great rapids Nämforsen which flows in the river Ångermanälven. The river and rapids together with the forests and steep hillsides forms an evocative and imaginative landscape. The scenic impression is further amplified by the rock carvings down by the river which attests how this has been a venue since thousands of years.
