Four female musicians/dancers use flamenco as a tool to portray the significance of origin for our choices in life by looking inwards, backwards and into the present.
The project will culminate in a performance in Umeå and at other locations in Västerbotten in November 2014. During late summer and fall there will be workshops at schools.
The project involves Rebecca Rubin and Sofia Castro, dancers active in Seville, Spain, Rosali Grankull, composer and musician who over the years has made music for theater, architecture, dance, opera, and Afra Rubino, who is one of the few successful female flamenco guitarists on a professional level.
