Barents Forum Umeå

Hur kan vi använda ny teknik för att skapa gränsöverskridande kulturmöten i Barentsregionen? I detta seminarium utforskas möjligheterna och vi får lyssna till intressanta erfarenheter.

Seminariet är gratis och hålls på engelska. Några av programpunkterna:

HUMlab – A dynamic meeting place for the humanities, culture and information technology. Carl-Erik Engqvist, Artistic Leder at HUMlab, Umeå University.

Digital Live Arena (DLA) is the future cultural arena that disseminates a wide culture / entertainment completely free, around the clock worldwide. It can be viewed via the internet, IPTV and mobile platforms and spread to places where people gather.

Virtual exhibition visits. Dan Lestander Artist and curator, Kilen Artgroup Experiences from the virtual and interactive connection between the “X-border” contemporary art exhibition venues in Luleå (SWE), Rovaniemi (FIN) and Severomorsk (RUS).

Global Connections. Monica Edmundson, artist. She lives in a small Västerbotten village but works all over the World. She will speak of her tools and the project 100 MIGRATORY that has just travelled the globe.
